Meet Jeff Courtney
Jeff's background is an awesome blend of food and art, making him the perfect fit as Cake's Production Manager. He found his knack for fine arts and details while drawing cartoons at the kitchen table when he was just five-years old. Jeff continued his fine art interests at the Schuler School of Fine Arts, right here in Baltimore, and has continued to fuel his career and serve our team as an art+food double threat.
As far as finding a home around ovens, Jeff quickly built his knowledge of baking by working as lead baker for multiple reputable bakeries in the Baltimore area. Reliability, an appreciation for quality and fresh ingredients, presentation of the foods he plays a role in providing, and twenty years of industry experience allows him to work hand-in-hand with our vendors, ensuring Cake uses the highest quality ingredients for our neighbors. Jeff prides himself in sourcing locally and working with other Baltimore based businesses to support our community.
